Kodak Brownie Cresta 2

Yesterday I loaded up my Kodak Brownie Cresta 2 ready to shoot something for International Brownie Camera Day 2018. I picked my final roll of the dodgy batch of Kodak Tmax 400 (the stuff that has backing numbers and fogging) and loaded up. I went for a short walk around the centre of Milton Keynes knowing that there are a few nice sculptures around. I also know that there are many homeless people camping out in the underpasses too, apart from a couple of attempts to get me to part with my spare change (I’m like the Queen, I don’t carry money) all was fine.

I was busy shooting one of the works when I heard a buzzing noise behind me, I looked down to see a “lunchbox on wheels” waiting patiently for me to move out of the way. I got a shot of it, and its mate coming the other way. Technology eh?

Speaking of which, as you may know, I don’t have a computer at the moment, so my scanners are of absolutely no use to me. I had to figure out a good enough way of scanning my negs. I ended up using my iphone and ipad. The quality isn’t good but who cares?

Octo

I had a walk around Milton Keynes today with my Kodak Brownie Cresta ii trying to shoot a picture for International Brownie Day. Whilst I wait for my film to dry, here’s an iPhone shot of the Octo, or more truthfully a reflection of the Octo in its pool. Hopefully when I’ve figured out how best to scan the film from the Cresta, I’ll put the pics up here too.
