The Fujica Auto-5 I bought the other day was suffering from moldy, peeling skin. Luckily I have some sheets of walnut veneer left over from a project, so I thought I would have a bash at reskinning the camera. Easier said than done, I got glue everywhere, but my remedial scissor skills eventually won out. It isn’t perfect, maybe I’ll try again at some point. I finished off with some neutral shoe polish just to seal the wood. I still have to do something about the battery door, Gorilla tape looks a bit odd.
